About Me

Anthony Batterton is a professional genealogist and public speaker in Delaware with more than a decade of experience in family history research. His own family history has lead him from Florida to Pennsylvania, and westward to Kentucky and Illinois. He enjoys aiding other people on their own journeys of genealogical discovery, and learning about the history of unfamiliar places along the way.

In his spare time, Anthony Batterton enjoys lecturing for the Jane Austen Society of North America on subjects such as religion in the 18th century, historical methods of adoption, and the process of becoming an author in the Regency period.
